On the official YouTube channel, CD Projekt RED has today released two brand new videos for Phantom Liberty, the major forthcoming expansion of Cyberpunk 2077.
The first is an interview with Keanu Reeves, who will reprise his role as legendary Johnny Silverhand in Phantom Liberty. Reeves gives us a brief description of the new location, Dogtown, one of the most notorious districts in Night City, and discusses Johnny and protagonist V’s roles in Phantom Liberty.
Idris Elba will play FIA agent Solomon Reed in Phantom Liberty on September 26, while V and her rockstar passenger will have their share of new adventures and encounter some of Dogtown’s deadliest residents.
As CD Projekt RED Quest Director Pawel Sasko leads us through the new location, spilling some juicy details about Dogtown and what we can expect to see.
In the midst of a storm of controversy, Cyberpunk 2077 was released in December of 2020. Many, including us, praised the game’s narrative, setting, and method of characterization of not only the people but the Night City itself. However, many others struggled with the often deadly technical difficulties that plagued the game at the start.
In our analysis, we stated: “It’s a good idea to keep an eye on things.”
Phantom Liberty is scheduled to be released on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S & X on September 26 2023.
