Heart of Stone is the upcoming Netflix movie that will see its lead actress Gal Gadot back in her action-packed roots.
Directed by Tom Harper and boasting a screenplay by Greg Rucka and Allison Schroeder, the spy action thriller film movie is set to have our hearts pumping with its nail-biting plot.
The Wonder Woman actress takes on the role of butt-kicking intelligence operative Rachel Stone, who will stop at nothing on a perilous mission to ensure that her organisation retains its most valuable and dangerous asset.

What is the exact plot of Heart of Stone?
The official synopsis from Netflix reads: “The Netflix synopsis says ‘Rachel Stone (Gal Gadot) appears to be an inexperienced tech, on an elite MI6 unit headed up by lead agent Parker (Jamie Dornan). What her MI6 team doesn’t know is that Stone actually works for the Charter — a covert peacekeeping organisation, secret even from other spies, which uses cutting-edge technology to neutralise global threats.
“Rachel has been trained to be the consummate professional: a phenomenal field agent who sticks to the mission follows the numbers, and trusts no one. When a routine mission is derailed by mysterious hacker Keya Dhawan (Alia Bhatt), Rachel’s two lives collide. As she races to protect the Charter and strives to beat the odds, her humanity might just be her biggest asset.

What has the cast said about Heart of Stone?
Gal gushed: “Heart of Stone is going to be extremely epic. It’s a super grounded, raw, action thriller. We really wanted to make sure we keep it realistic so people can feel the pain.”
Meanwhile, Indian actress Alia discussed why she chose Heart of Stone as her big Hollywood debut, telling Total Film Magazine: “I love the idea that it was headlined by this female superstar.
“It was a woman-led action film – it’s what makes it compelling in a completely different way, opposed to just a woman being a part of the plan,” she added. “I’ve worked in Hindi cinema for the last ten years, and I was prepared to understand that if I was starting afresh in a completely new language, I would not maybe start off with the biggest or the best role. But this was a really good, important role, very well written, and it complemented the other characters really well.”
