THE CONTINENTAL: FROM THE WORLD OF JOHN WICK Drops Action-Packed First Trailer

We got our first look at the upcoming drama series set in the John Wick universe during the 2023 San Diego Comic-Con, but now Peacock has dropped the trailer for The Continental: From the World of John Wick. It will serve as a prequel to the films starring Keanu Reeves and centers around Winston Scott (Colin Woodell), who came to acquire The Continental, a notorious chain of hotels that Scott established as a neutral haven for housing assassins.

The official synopsis of the miniseries from NBCUniversal Media Village describes the series like this:

“The three-part event will explore the origin behind the iconic hotel-for-assassins centerpiece of the John Wick universe through the eyes and actions of a young Winston Scott, as he’s dragged into the Hell-scape of 1970’s New York City to face a past he thought he’d left behind. Winston charts a deadly course through the hotel’s mysterious underworld in a harrowing attempt to seize the hotel where he will eventually take his future throne.”

From the trailer, it looks like viewers are in for a series full of tons of tightly-choreographed fight scenes and high-action moments. The Continental: From the World of John Wick stars Mel Gibson, Colin Woodell, Mishel Prada, Ben Robson, Hubert Point-Du Jour, Nhung Kate, Jessica Allain, Ayomide Adegun, Jeremy Bobb and Peter Greene.

The Continental: From the World of John Wick premieres in three installments. “Night One” debuts on September 22, followed by “Night Two” on September 29 and “Night Three” on October 6, only on Peacock.
