Keanu Reeves stopped to greet his fans and sign autographs for them just hours before a gig with his rock band.
The Hollywood star was spotted carrying his bass guitar ahead of his show with Dogstar at the Fremont Theater in San Luis Obispo, California, on Thursday as he stopped to get acquainted with fans of the band who were waiting outside to greet them. Keanu, 58, has been taking part in his first Dogstar tour for 20 years and appeared to be in good spirits as he greeted the waiting crowd.
Dressed in dark jeans and a black t-shirt layered under a grey and black coat, the John Wick actor added a pair of large dark sunglasses, brown boots and a brown baseball cap to complete his low key look. After spending some time chatting to his fans he then moved inside the venue accompanied by his security detail.

Keanu recently reunited with Dogstar folllowing the 20-year hiatus. He initially formed the band back in 1991 alongside Robert Mailhouse and Gregg Miller, with Brett Domrose joining the group in 1994.
In 1996 the band released a four-track EP titled Quattro Formaggi, followed by their first studio album, Our Little Visionary. They then released a second album, Happy Ending, in 1999 before going their separate ways by 2002.
As the years passed Dogstar remained in contact for regular jam sessions, however, during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 they spent more time together and began songwriting, which ultimately led to them having enough material for a new album. In July 2022 they announced their reunion via Instagram and performed together for the first time in 20 years at the Bottle Rock Napa Valley Music Festival in May 2023.

They released the first single from their new album titled Everything Turns Around in mid-July. Their third album, Somewhere Between the Power Lines and Palm Trees, is scheduled for release on October 6. The band also announced a 25-date tour to coincide with the release of the album, which kicked off August 10 at Hermosa Beach, California.
The tour is set to continue at the Ventura Music Hall in Ventura, California on August 26, the Belly-Up Tavern in Solano Beach, California on August 27 and The Observatory in Santa Ana, California on August 28. The band will then head to Japan in September to play several dates, before heading back to the USA for a further string of shows in fall and winter before wrapping up at the Brooklyn Bowl in Nashville on December 20 and December 21.
