It’s pretty obvious that Gal Gadot has a lot going for her: She’s easy on the eyes, graceful, military trained and could genuinely over power me (which isn’t difficult).
While Wonder Woman may have been Gal Gadot’s breakout movie role, this ain’t her first rodeo. She’s been in the movie business for around ten years with plenty of other action movies under her belt.
So, if Wonder Woman was the first movie you saw starring Gal Gadot, then you should probably check take note of this Gal Gadot movies list.
1) BATMAN VS SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE
No Gal Gadot movies list would be complete without her first Wonder Woman role in Batman Vs Superman: Dawn of Justice. This is the big debut performance that set up her starring role in Wonder Woman.
After seeing this film, it’s no doubt why she was born to play the role of Wonder Woman. Gal Gadot has said that she loves playing strong female characters who play active roles, and this was probably the first film that allowed her to do that with such an iconic character.
While her role in the film was pretty small, it definitely showcased her strong character. Who better to play the role than an ex IDF soldier? This is the film that catapulted her star status and that’s why this has to be number one on any Gal Gadot movies list.
2) FAST AND FURIOUS FRANCHISE
This was an easy choice because it was her first blockbuster movie role. Getting to be on set alongside Vin Diesel and Paul Walker ain’t bad for a young Israeli actor.
Gadot got cast as Giselle, a love stricken young woman. She doesn’t really do much in Fast and Furious 4 except go gaga over Dominic Toretto.
In Fast and Furious 5 she joins Dominic’s team for the heist and more of her badass qualities start to appear. She’s described as someone who “isn’t afraid to throw down.” Kinda sounds like Wonder Woman. But she still retains her romantic qualities.
3) KEEPING UP WITH THE JONESES
It’s almost embarrassing to put this spy-comedy flick in a Gal Gadot movies list but she does play a pretty major role in the movie so I decided to chuck it in there.
Keeping Up With the Joneses tanked at the box office and generally received pretty shitty reviews. But on the plus side, it has Zach Galifinakis so you know it’s going to be funny.
While the movie flat out sucked, Gal Gadot is still pretty awesome in the film and it’s hard not to enjoy her performance.
Spoiler alert: There may be a steamy scene with Gal Gadot and Isla Fisher, but you didn’t hear it from me…
4) TRIPLE NINE
This movie well deserves its place in this list because it’s a crime thriller, which i think portrays Gal Gadot’s talent.
Gal Gadot’s tough demeanour and glamorous appeal make this movie one to watch if you a fan of everyone’s new favourite superhero. She plays the sister of Kate Winslet’s mobster, and boy is she glamorous in this movie.
While the film doesn’t quite live up to the star-spangled ensemble cast, the entertainment factor of the genre still makes it a fun watch.
5) KICKING OUT SHOSHANA
While this film is pretty shit, i couldn’t write a Gal Gadot movies list without putting it in there. I mean, it’s her first performance in an Israeli film and she has a substantial role in it ,which is more than i can say for the above mentioned films.
Kicking Out Shoshana is a comedy sports film which i don’t really think suits Gal Gadot because i just don’t think she’s that funny. It’s based in Jerusalem and the plot is basically about an Israeli football player who is forced by a mafia boss to pose as gay, a punishment for flirting with the criminal’s girlfriend. It’s an imaginative plot, I’ll give it that.
So yeah, if that sounds likes it’s right up your alley then give it a watch I guess…
