Gal Gadot

Gal Gadot appears to have shot something for Wonder Woman in 2021 (UPDATED)

It seems that we may be seeing Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman again a bit sooner than we thought.

We highly recommend you do not read any further if you do not want to potentially spoil an upcoming DC project for yourself. The short version is, Gadot has filmed something as Wonder Woman, and we think we know what it is.

To celebrate 2021 coming to a close, Gal Gadot took to Instagram and posted a reel celebrating everything that happened in her life throughout the year.

There are two “blink and you’ll miss it” moments worth pointing out. The first one is from July and is the more questionable of the two. This image requires you to really look at the lanyard the man is wearing, and you’ll notice its Flash colors. With the rumors she will appear in the film, this would line up with the filming, but we promise the second picture is a bit more concrete. (UPDATE: Flash Film News on Twitter has found a picture of another crew member on The Flash wearing the same lanyard.)

In the August portion of the reel, you can see her Wonder Woman tiara and her wrists are wrapped in cloth as we’re used to seeing for the character.

It’s also worth noting the U.K. electrical outlets below the mirror. At this particular time in 2021, both The Flash and Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom were filming, so it’s a bit more difficult to say which film this would have been for. We’ve heard more rumors about her appearing in The Flash, but there has been a few whispers of a cameo in the Aquaman sequel as well.

Whichever project it may be, it appears that we aren’t going to have to wait until Wonder Woman 3 to see her suit up again.

The Flash is set to hit theaters on Nov. 4, 2022, and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is due to be released on Dec. 16, 2022.
