The Walking Dead’s Norman Reedus reacts to MCU casting rumours
"There's been a lot of talk over the last couple years."

Norman Reedus may be in a spot of bother as The Walking Dead’s Daryl Dixon, so it’s no surprise talk is turning to the actor’s future beyond the zombie apocalypse.
Now, just a few weeks after fans began wildly speculating that he was tipped to announce his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut as Ghost Rider, Reedus has responded to the flurry of excitement over his potential casting.
Following rumours that Marvel is working on a new Ghost Rider movie with a Johnny Blaze in mind, the Walking Dead favourite told ComicBook.com that he’s also holding out hope.
“Fingers crossed,” he said, when asked about his possible involvement. “I don’t know.”

Keeping us all in the dark for the time being, Norman added: “There’s been a lot of talk over the last couple years. I do not have an answer for you.”
This isn’t the first time Reedus has spoken out about his love for the iconic Marvel anti-hero, with the actor previously telling ComicBook.com that he is definitely up for taking over the role.
“The Ghost Rider conversation has been coming up for years, and yeah, tell them to put me in it,” he said. “So, I don’t know, call somebody, make that happen. I want to do it.”

“I want a fire skull,” he added, understandably. “I want my face to turn into a fire skull and whip a chain around. That would be great.”
Let’s get The Walking Dead’s final episodes out the way first, though, eh?
