Justice League: Gal Gadot Hasn’t Seen the Snyder Cut, But Hopes to One Day
Wonder Woman: 1984 star Gal Gadot says that she has not seen Zack Snyder's cut of Justice League, but hopes that one day it will be released.

Gal Gadot has not seen the Snyder Cut of Justice League but hopes to one day. Justice League was released in theaters two years ago and is still one of the most talked-about movies of the DC Extended Universe. Justice League didn’t do well at the box office or with critics, partly because there were two directors that worked on the film. Zack Snyder was the original director, who unfortunately had to step aside after experiencing a family tragedy. Joss Whedon took over the film at that point, which resulted in a lot of changes to the finished product and a slew of reshoots.
Fans have been asking Warner Bros. to see Snyder’s 3.5 hour cut of Justice League and the cast of the film seem equally as interested. Most of the main cast members have shown support for the Snyder Cut, including Ben Affleck, Ray Fisher, Gadot, and Jason Momoa. Henry Cavill has discussed the Snyder Cut as well but seems more focused on getting Man of Steel 2 made over the re-release of Justice League. Now, Gadot has once again spoken about the Snyder Cut.
In a recent interview with Cinepop, Gadot briefly talked about the Snyder Cut while promoting Wonder Woman: 1984. When Gadot was asked if she ever thought the film would be released in theaters or on a streaming service, Gadot replied, “I don’t know. I think that the movie suffered from very, you know very unfortunate and sad, you know circumstances. I would have loved to see the finished cut of Zack, and I hope that one day we’ll get to see it, but I don’t know.”

There’s been interest in the Snyder Cut for the past two years, but the push to see Snyder’s film has made a lot of progress these past few months. Snyder has continually shared BTS images from his version of Justice League, and last month, the hashtag #ReleaseTheSnyderCut was trending on Twitter with over 60,000 tweets. There has been some debate on whether Snyder’s cut of the film actually exists, but Snyder recently shared evidence that the Snyder Cut does indeed exist. Despite the clear desire to see the film from fans, the cast, and the crew, Warner Bros. currently hasn’t shared any plans on releasing the Snyder Cut.
At this point, it remains unknown if the Snyder will ever see the light of day. Momoa is the only cast member that has claimed to have actually seen the Snyder Cut. While Gadot has shown her support for the Snyder Cut, she is no doubt more focused on promoting Wonder Woman: 1984, which hits theaters next Summer. That being said, Warner Bros. also has their hands full with several DC projects so even if Wonder Woman herself wants to see the Snyder Cut of Justice League, it might not happen anytime soon.
