Here’s What Gal Gadot Does To Maintain Her Perfectly Toned Legs

It takes some serious dedication to train like Wonder Woman. Gal Gadot has put her body through the ringer time and time again – as we’ll come to realize throughout the article, her incredible shape has a lot to do with more than just gifted genetics. Gadot is devoted when it comes to her training and eating habits. In a conversation about her training with In Style, it was said that things would get so tough on the cardio that she would nearly see blackout because of it;

“Bradley told me after a particularly harrowing interval workout on a rowing machine. Things were dark indeed: I’ve always been a runner, but after a move and the chaotic home renovation that followed, I’d been hitting Costco-size bags of M&Ms harder than I’d been hitting the trails. I agreed to a month-long training regimen that mirrored the prep Gadot was doing to build muscle for her upcoming role as Wonder Woman.”

She ultimately prevailed and that was evident based on her look alone. It took some serious work and a hard grind – it was relentless work as we’ll discuss, both on the road and during her daily life, keeping that consistency was quite the task.

Fans always rave about her perfectly sculpted legs and throughout the article, we’ll discuss her secrets to maintaining such a sleek lower body.

Her Workout Routine

Get in, do the work in the gym for multiple hours and then get ready for more challenges, working choreographies into her routine – that’s all part of the lifestyle for Gal while shooting;

“I did two hours gym work, two hours fight choreography, and two hours horseback riding. Which is super hard.”

Among her favorite exercises include working in the TRX bands, that’s a great way to keep the joints loose while challenging one’s bodyweight strength.

While on the road, Gadot makes no excuses, even when fatigue sets in. When she’s not feeling the hotel gym, she’ll simply set up a circuit in the comfort of her own room, she explains to go-to exercise and process with Self;

“I love doing planks. Planks are my go-to,” she says to SELF. “When I travel and don’t feel like going down to the hotel gym, I just do a workout in my room, and planks are a big part of that.”

Along with the gym, she continues to build her legs with routines elsewhere – activity level is huge when it comes to toning her legs, the actress always tends to be on her feet.

Activity Out Of The Gym Also Matters
Two other parts of Gadot’s leg building take place out of the gym – surprisingly one of them features horseback riding, which she strong underestimated early on;

“When people used to tell me, ‘Yeah I do sports I ride horses,’ I was like, ‘That’s not sport. The horse does everything.’ No! No! You’d be surprised—it’s sooo painful.”

She loves to change things up and hit workouts outdoors – one of her preferred routines features work on the paddleboard, using her lower body strength while also working in her agility for the activity in the water.

Gadot continues to keep active but most important of all perhaps along with the muscle-building, she’s consistently fueling herself up with a strong diet – that’s a must when it comes to staying in shape and properly leaning out. As she explained in the past, she does have her cheat days every now and then but for the most part, it is all about portion control.

Diet Is On Point

As she detailed with Bazaar, it takes the proper foods to build the ideal physique;

“I love to experience food, but at the same time I look at food as fuel and I want to give the best to my body,” she told BAZAAR. So of course I have my bad things that I eat like burgers or ice cream with chocolate. I don’t restrict myself, I can eat everything.”

As we eluded to, the portion control and size of the meal is just as important for the Wonder Woman star;

“It’s all a matter of measurements and quantity of the food; just enjoy your food and don’t eat while you drive and don’t eat when you talk on the phone,” Gadot continued. “Just give the food the respect and give yourself the respect to enjoy it.”

In summary, work hard and eat right is the secret to a pair of strong legs – keeping active out of the gym with activities like horseback riding and paddleboard are also big-time positives in relation to her lower body prowess.
