Has Brian Austin Green Continued Acting After His Divorce From Megan Fox?

Brian Austen Green has been on more reality shows than drama series since his divorce from starlet Megan Fox.

Brian Austin Green is best known for his portrayal of David Silver on the television series Beverly Hills, 90210. For ten seasons fans watched the ups and downs of David and Donna’s romance, his aspiring music career, and his struggles with drug abuse. Green continued acting after his breakout role on the show and ended up meeting Megan Fox on the set of Hope & Faith in 2004. Fox had a starring role in the sitcom and his appearance in one episode was the start of a 10-year marriage.

Brian and Megan got married in 2010 and they share three sons together: Noah Shannon, 9, Bodhi Ransom, 7, and Journey River, 5. They decided to split in May 2020 and Megan filed for divorce six months later. Currently, Fox is in a high-profile relationship with rapper, Machine Gun Kelly while Green is dating professional ballroom dancer, Sharna Burgess. Since their divorce… Green hasn’t been starring in any major roles like he used to. Green has been diving into the depths of reality television like never before!

Brian Austin Green Was On ‘The Masked Singer’

Brian Austin Green first appeared on The Masked Singer, a reality singing competition television series, a few months after his divorce was finalized. Green was revealed as the Giraffe after all the judges guessed his identity wrong. Even his buddy Robin Thicke, who’s been friends with Green since they were kids, got it wrong.

“We were best friends as teenagers,” the “Blurred Lines” singer said after Green’s identity was revealed. “I used to go to the 90210 set with him all the time. I love you. I can’t believe that’s you.”

Green sang on the show a few times, since his character was an aspiring artist, so he really got to live out the dream. Unfortunately, his efforts got him eliminated on only the third episode.

Brian Austin Green Is On ‘The Masked Dancer’

After his appearance on that reality show, Green made his way over to a neighboring show called, The Masked Dancer. Instead of being judged in front of the crowd, he was now the one judging. Green joined a panel of talented judges for season one of this dancing show including Ken Jeong, Paula Abdul, and Ashley Tisdale.

Brian Austin Green Competed On ‘Dancing With The Stars’

After Green and Fox split in 2020, he started seeing Dancing With the Stars’ Sharna Burgess. He joined his pro girlfriend for season 30 of the hit reality dancing competition. His dancing skills must have been slightly better than his singing because he was eliminated in the fourth week of the competition.

He along with Bachelor alum, Matt James were taken out during a double elimination. After dancing back-to-back during Disney heroes and villains night, Brian and Sharna packed up their eye patches and headed home. Their Pirates of the Caribbean Paso Doble just didn’t seem to land well with the audience.

Brian Austin Green Acted On ‘The Conners’

Since his divorce, Brian finally made his first appearance on a non-reality show on The Conners. It seemed as if his acting days were over but this gig gave the fans hope. Green says the overall experience on the ABC sitcom was surreal.

“Because of COVID and having to wear masks and all that stuff, we are not reuniting in the way I’d obviously like to,” he tells ET. “Like, I’m more of a hugger and I’m really into being affectionate with people. And so we haven’t been able to do that because of the rules.” Green adds that despite the restrictions, he and Sara Gilbert still got to reconnect. “We had a couple of those moments… Between rehearsing scenes we would talk about how long we’ve known each other. Because I’ve known Sara forever.”

Sharna And Brian’s Relationship

Interestingly enough, Brian Austen Green was supposed to be on DWTS before the pandemic hit and his partner was Sharna Burgess. This is how they met before becoming the first-ever celebrity pro partnership that was actually in a relationship. Fast forward they have been happily dating for almost a year and a half. The couple met during the heat of the pandemic and their relationship has been solid ever since.

Sharna recalled the first time she met Brian stating, “How funny would it be if I actually found the love of my life during a pandemic? I’m looking for that soulmate stuff — that thing where that something inside you recognizes that something inside them.” She added, “We took out time and we really got to know each other for who we are on the inside. And we really built something beautiful.”

Sharna and Brian keep their relationship pretty private so their time on DWTS together really opened them up to a world of attention. The couple is focusing on getting back into their normal routine and not a 24/7 dance rehearsal schedule!
