‘Wonder Woman 3’ Is In The Works

After the success of Wonder Woman 1984, initially on HBO Max and later at the box office. The producers and distributors of the franchise were rushing for the third movie after the second one’s well-rounded performance.

But since the third movie had not even begun to come along, and with the pandemic not allowing any further developments, the whole thing came to a halt.

Moreso, writer, and director Petta Jenkins was vocal with her opinions regarding the release of movies on streaming platforms. She said it was detrimental to the movie’s success.

But with now everything getting back on track, Gadot and Jenkins offered an update on the project’s progress saying in Gadot’s interview with Forbes that they have started working on it and that the script is coming together.

Gadot had Jenkins visiting her in London when she was shooting for Disney’s Snow White. In her conversation with Forbes about her new startup Goodles, Wonder Woman was obviously brought up, and Jenkins chimed in the conversation.

They ended up getting some info, and their excitement about the movie slipped, much to the fans’ amazement.

At the mention of fans’ reaction, Jenkins said “We can’t wait to get the next movie out, too,” with Gadot adding, “We’re talking! We’re actually in the mix of working on the script and getting the third one made, so it’s all wheels are working and turning and I’m super, super excited for the fans to come and watch Wonder Woman 3 once it’s made.”

Gadot On Playing The Evil Queen

Gadot is a very in-demand actress in Hollywood at the moment, and she has various other ventures going on apart from being a wife and mother of three. Goes without saying her multiple roles on and off-screen keep her schedule filled. But she says it’s all about making time for things you love and are passionate about.

Lately, She has been busy with Disney’s Snow White, in which she is playing the part of The Evil Queen. Filming started in London. This is a role very different from all her previous works, which are no less diverse, which is why she claims it makes it all the more exciting.

When asked about how her experience has been playing such a role, she said: “I love it! It’s fun, I get to do something different. I get to sing and I get to dance and I get to play the villain, which is something that I’ve never done before – and it’s the first Disney villain ever.”

She talks highly of the cast and crew she’s working with, saying: “I really enjoy working with all people involved, with Marc Webb [directing] and Marc Platt [producing] and Disney, of course, [actress] Rachel Zegler. It’s just a great experience and I really, really enjoy it, and The Evil Queen is very evil, so it’s going to be interesting.”

Other Plans For Wonder Woman
The masses love Wonder Woman and for the character to be restricted to a trilogy was not the best news for the fans.

Hence, shortly after the release of Wonder Woman 1984, it was announced that Gadot and Jenkins would be returning for the third film along with a spin-off project based on the Amazons of Themyscira.

Further, in the future, the fans are going to see a Wonder Woman and Black Adam crossover. Black Adam producer Hiram Garcia hinted that he is already working on the project. It’s already an extremely exciting prospect to think about and left fans gushing over it.

He told Variety: “To see Wonder Woman and Black Adam share the screen, it would be pretty awesome.” He added: “I honestly feel like Wonder Woman’s one of the few superheroes that can go toe-to-toe with Black Adam.”

And since stars Dwayne Johnson and Gal Gadot got along so well while filming the Netflix comedy movie Red Notice, he’s all the more sure of it.
