One of the most recent characters he is well known for is Roy Petty on Ozark. He plays an FBI agent who is investigating the Byrds. He also recently starred in Fox’s Next, a sci-fi crime drama.
Other roles you will recognize him from include Ray Donovan, Scandal, This Is Us, The Blacklist, Betrayal, Alcatraz and many more. You can also add him to the long list of Walking Dead actors who have starred in a Law & Order series. He has been in Law & Order and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
Another new project for Butler Harner is the movie Sour Milk. He plays the father of a 15-year-old girl, Abby (Sierra McCormick), who is forced to move in with him and his younger girlfriend when her mother dies. It is a coming-of-age story as Abby is straddling the line between childhood and adulthood. The story is based on writers and directors Sophia Sabella and Pablo Feldman’s time growing up in Mill Vally, CA, and is their first feature.
