‘The Walking Dead’ Series Premiere Reignites Norman Reedus Fandom

Norman Reedus, along with his fellow Walking Dead castmates, will bless television screens around the world for one last bloody season.
The Walking Dead has been on since 2010 and has amassed a cult-like following for over a decade. This is unfortunately the beginning of the end for Walking Dead fans.
The series final season premieres on Sunday, August 22nd at 9 pm EST. However, if you are a die hard Walking Dead fan than you have probably already seen the savage first episode.
“The channel’s streaming platform AMC+ gives fans the chance to access original content early, with The Walking Dead season 11 premiere made available on Sunday, August 15. And Verizon is giving eligible customers access to AMC+ at no extra cost, meaning they will be able to stream The Walking Dead from the earlier release date.”
Individuals who managed to watch the episode one week early are true zombie fans… but also better keep all the gory details hush.
Norman Reedus’ character, Daryl Dixon, blew up on social media after the premiere. Reedus has been a fan favorite on the show since he is one of the only OG members left on the show, along with Melissa McBride.

It is go time.
During the episode, Maggie and Negan go on a quest through the D.C. Metro tunnels, but things take a turn for the worst. Maggie still despises Negan for the brutal murder of Glen, so this is a tricky situation for two people who don’t trust each other.
The ends with Maggie climbing up a subway car but, “she slips, and there are too many walkers, and as the episode ends Negan looks down from atop the car, hearing her cries for help, and just bails. That’s quite a humdinger of a cliffhanger to end the season premiere on. There’s not much chance Maggie actually dies here — “The Walking Dead” would have gone ahead and shown her die right here if this was her time.”

There goes a certain someones redemption arc! Stay tuned for more episodes of The Walking Dead streaming only on AMC.
Fortunately for fans, there is a Carol and Daryl spinoff show to come so no need to let go of these two characters just yet!
