From Amy Schumer to Paul Chuckle: The celebs who can’t get enough of Love Island

The newest batch of sexy singletons are just hours away from entering the Love Island villa, and we can’t wait to watch the drama unfold.
It’s not just us counting down the hours though, as the ITV reality dating programme manages to pull in some pretty famous faces (and no, we’re not just talking about footballer Michael Owen who will be tuning in to watch his daughter Gemma on the show this year).
We’ve already enjoyed seven series of Casa Amor chaos, love triangles, cheating bombshells and friendship fallouts, all narrated by Iain Stirling.
Now, with the first 10 contestants now officially revealed, we’re expecting even more, as, in the latest twist, Iain has revealed that viewers can actually vote for which guy and girl couple up at the start of the series.
High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens can’t wait for the show to launch, and recently revealed that she’s ‘hooked’ on Love Island and will definitely be ‘tuning in’.
The MTV Movie and TV awards host told PA news agency: ‘Love Island really had me hooked so I was there every single step of the way.
‘It’s just really interesting to see how people process things and how people identify love.
‘I’m definitely tuning in [on Monday]. I’m still here for it.
‘I want to watch everyone find love and watch it get messy along the way.’
Margot Robbie

There’s no bigger fan than one who plans a Love Island party, is there?
That’s exactly what Margot Robbie did, basing the theme of her 31st birthday party on the ITV show last year.
The Wolf of Wall Street actress and her friends posed for pictures shared to social media in an array of colourful bikinis and swimming costumes, with her pal tagging the location of the picture as Casa Amor.

Despite having been an avid viewer for years, the Suicide Squad actress admitted last year that she struggled to get too into it.
While being interviewed alongside her Suicide Squad co-star Idris Elba, Margot said on Lorraine that she ‘adores Love Island so much’, a love that she shares with the writer and director of the DC film, James Gunn.
‘He’s also a huge Love Island fan and we would talk about it all the time. We probably spoke about Love Island more than we spoke about this film when we were on set, we had our drink bottles on set,’ she said.
‘The current season, I haven’t really gotten into it yet, I’m struggling to get into it this season, but you know, it’s still early days and with the lag time of when you get the episodes in America, so I’m a little behind, but I adore it. I adore the show,’ she added.
Fingers crossed Margot’s more into it this year.
Chrissy Teigen

Many of us spent lockdown binge-watching as many series as we could, and it seems Chrissy Teigen was no different.
The 36-year-old shared her thoughts on the winter edition of the show, from January 2020 – the season which gave us Siannise Fudge and Luke Trotman’s iconic dance, and the heart-breaking moment where Callum Jones came back from Casa Amor with Molly Smith, leaving Shaughna Phillips on her own.
And while most of the nation loved all of the villa-filled drama, it appears Chrissy didn’t like it at all.
Apparently, she really hated it… but still binged it, of course.
