The internet can’t seem to escape Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly. Whether they’re making red carpet appearances in statement making outfits, or making out during red carpet appearances, it’s hard to keep your eyes off the high profile love birds. The couple are featured together in British GQ’s Autumn/Winter 2021 Style issue. Photographer Daniella Midenge captures the couple in a variety of shots. 8 “The Darkest Fairtytale”
Megan and MGK are no strangers to body ink. During the interview, writer Molly Lambert describes the pair both giving each other matching tattoos. They chose the phrase “the darkest fairtyale” for their matching ink, which is a reference to one of their first text exchanges. (How cute?) Megan chose to ink her beau on his hip, since he doesn’t have many places left on his body for new tattoos. Later in the article MGK admits “I love a dark fairytale” while discussing their favorite movies which include The Lost Boys, True Romance, Point Break, and Almost Famous.
7 “I Am Weed”
One of the more bizarre moments from their interview is when Megan recalls the first time they met each other. Officially, the two started dating after filming Midnight In The Switchgrass together, but they had met a few years earlier. Megan describes the first interaction she had with MGK. “I just remember this tall, blond, ghostly creature and I looked up and I was like, “You smell like weed.” He looked down at me and he was like, “I am weed.” Then, I swear to God, he disappeared like a ninja in a smoke bomb.” The internet was quick to react to MGK’s declaration, even giving it the meme treatment.
6 Their First Kiss, Was Kiss-less
The couple’s first kiss technically wasn’t a kiss, in the traditional sense. MGK explains, “We just put our lips right in front of each other and breathed each other’s breath and then she just left.” Since the couple are so hot and heavy in public, this came as a surprising reveal that their first hook up was actually on the innocent side.
5 Megan Finally Feels Accepted
Since her early days in Hollywood, Megan Fox has long been referred to as a sex symbol. She has been outspoken about her sexuality and feminist view points, which left her feeling like an outsider (at times) compared to other actresses in her industry. Megan went from being typecast as the “hot girl,” like her role in Transformers opposite Shia LaBeouf, to starring in cult feminist classics like Jennifer’s Body. She explains in the interview that she feels she is finally with someone that “really gets her.” Megan explains, “I think I had either put myself in, or allowed other people to put me in, this weird box that didn’t quite fit me, where I hadn’t lived my own life as myself for a really long time – the parts of me that were always eccentric or strange and didn’t belong within my own family unit or within Hollywood.”
4 Soulmates Forever
Both Megan and MGK use words like “destiny,” “spiritually,” and “soulmates” to describe their connection and deep bond. The interview gives insight into just how intense their chemistry is. Megan says, “meeting him, it’s like meeting your own soul’s reflection. I recognize so much of myself in him, and vice versa, and that locked-up part of me that I had put away.” Whether you believe in true love or not, there is no denying these two could be in it for the long haul.
3 They Have A Film Coming Out
The couple are both passionately creative and inspire each other, whether in film or in music. 2 They Both Have Demons

MGK describes his girlfriend as being “grounded,” which is something he himself is trying to work on. Megan says, “This is a very intense relationship. Our souls chose this to absolutely have to face our shadow selves; to face things about ourselves we didn’t want to have to know, that we tried to push away.”

It isn’t always so intense and emotional for the couple however. They take vacations and blow off steam… in adventurous ways, to say the least.
