Gal Gadot expecting baby number two
Israeli star announces her pregnancy via Instagram with photo of her and husband tagged #mommyforthesecondtime

The Israeli actress Gal Gadot, who plays Wonder Woman on the big screen, announced Sunday that she and her husband are expecting their second child.
Gadot posted a picture of herself and husband Yaron Varsano on Instagram, with their hands making a heart shape on her belly. Alongside she wrote, “So excited to share this wonder with you…” and used the hashtag #mommyforthesecondtime.
Gadot, a former Miss Israel, married the real estate developer in September 2008 and the couple have a 5-year-old daughter, Alma.
Within an hour, her post received over 100,000 likes and the news was trending on social media.
2016 was a busy year for Gadot, with four films released. In addition to playing Diana Prince/Wonder Woman in “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,” she played Natalie Jones in “Keeping Up with the Joneses,” and appeared in “Triple 9” and “Criminal.” Two more Wonder Woman movies are in post-production and will be released by Warner Bros. in 2017, “Wonder Woman” and “Justice League.”
A trailer for “Wonder Woman” was released two days ago. Set to hit theaters on June 2, 2017, the movie focuses on a classic DC Comics character already seen in 2016’s “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.”
At a publicity event for the film in March, Gadot said that she had never planned to be an actress and felt grateful to be playing a character her then 4-year-old daughter could look up to.
“I am so happy I’m going to be the one who’s going to tell the Wonder Woman story,” she added.
“It’s such an important story… But I also think it’s so important for girls — and boys — to have a female, strong superhero to look up to.”
