“When I was a month pregnant with (my daughter) Alma, I got an offer to be the evil Superman character. If I wasn’t pregnant I’d take the job, and there’s no way they would take me now to be Wonder Woman.”

In Man of Steel, Antje Traue portrays the role of Faora-Ul, General Zod’s formidable second-in-command. Considering Gal Gadot’s comments, it becomes apparent that Faora-Ul was the DCEU character she would have embodied instead of Wonder Woman. Given Gadot’s undeniable on-screen charisma, it is not difficult to envision her delivering a compelling portrayal of Faora. Undoubtedly, Gadot left a lasting impression on Snyder, leading him to enlist her for his subsequent DCEU venture.

Gal Gadot has undeniably become one of the most dependable cornerstones of the DCEU, thanks to the resounding success of director Patty Jenkins’ 2017 standalone Wonder Woman film.
